Bloody Nose as Mironovic fights Mitchell in an IHL Hockey Fight

Thursday 14 July 2011 @ 1:07 pm

A video of a bloody hockey fight in the IHL with two teams from Indiana. The two hockey players play chicken for the first few seconds when suddenly, Mitchell just goes full out and throw a bunch of solid punches that hit Mironovic of the Komets right on. This isn’t the first time these two hockey players fight each other, having a long time rivalry, their hockey fights are always serious.

Michtell ends up easily knocking Mironovic to the ground with Mironovic not even getting a punch in. Mironovic ends up with a really bloody nose and some cuts on his face as he didn’t remove his helmet and visor for the fight.

Goalie Rick DiPietro Knocked Out in Fight

Thursday 3 February 2011 @ 5:54 pm

In the hockey fight video on February 2nd, 2011, New York Islander’s Rick DiPietro take a cheap shot on Pittsburgh Penguin’s Matt Cook with his blocker because Matt Cook has been pissing him off in recent games. The two teams skirmish a bit and then the Pengiun’s goalie, Brent Johnson, decides to have a go at a fight with DiPietro.  This hockey goalie fight doesn’t last long with only one bunch thrown, but we aren’t disappointed. Johnson gets a left handed hook punch and knocks Dipietro out on the first punch.

It’s so rare the NHL goalies fight, always a treat to see. Can’t remember the last time a goalie fight resulted in a KO.

Aaron Voros gets his Orbital Bone Broken in Hockey Fight

Sunday 19 December 2010 @ 1:52 pm

A video of an emotionally charged hockey fight between 4th line enforcer Aaron Voros of the Anaheim ducks and Kevin Bieksa of the Vancouver Canucks. This hockey fight doesn’t last long, with Kevin Bieksa getting a few harsh right hand hooks in there, one of which broke Aaron Voros’ orbital bone.

Chris Stewart Breaks Hand in Fight vs Kyle Brodziak

Wednesday 1 December 2010 @ 10:35 pm

Wild hockey fight between Chris Stewart of the Colorado Avalanche and Kyle Brodziak of the Minnesota Wild on November 27th, 2010. They decide to square off in the second period off the faceoff,  with neither of the two hockey players being an enforcer. Stewart does however have a bit more fighting experience than Brodziak and unleases a wrath of punches on Brodziak’s head. He even punches Brodziak’s head’s backside which isn’t done often and is considered very poor class.

Stewart easily wins the fight as Brodziak just falls down not knowing what to do. Stewart continued to show bad class by doing hand gestures to at the Wild bench as he leaves the ice. Brodziak gets the final laugh in this fight however as Stewart ended up breaking his left hand. Stewart is now out for 4 to 6 weeks. Guess karma appears to be at work here.

AHL Hockey Line Brawl in Toronto

Monday 29 November 2010 @ 12:44 am

A great emotional hockey line brawl in the AHL between the Toronto Marlies and the Grand Rapids Griffins at the Ricoh Coliseum on November 24th, 2010. A huge total of 18 Fighting majors were given out for the fisticuffs that happened in this emotional hockey game.

The two teams hate each other so much during this fight that you see the refs having to tackle Darryl Boyce of the Toronto Marlies (#7)  to rescue the Griffins’ Tomas Tatar (#27) after Boyce devastated him. I chuckled when I saw that.  Another great was between Francis Pare of the Griffins (#9) and Matt Lashoff of the Marlis (#21) at center ice. Lots of harsh uppercut punches and hooks thrown.

Also, a rare time that the video of this extreme hockey fight was filmed by a fan and the footage is not from a television network. Great job by the fan filming this great hockey fight!
